After reading the reviews for the New Balance WT-910, they sounded like just what I was looking for. I am happy to report they are. They are very comfortable, yet provide very good toe protection. They are lightweight, so don't make my feet feel hot. They definitely run true to size, so consider that when ordering. The true test will be how my feet feel after the hike. I work at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. I wear these shoes every day as I walk all over this base and the large rocks they call gravel. I also spend time on a treadmill every day. There was a break in period for 3-4 days but after that these are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I will be ordering another pair to have on hand for when the current pair wears out. I am always very pleased with any new balance shoe that I purchase. I bought these knowing that I would be inserting a special orthotic for overpronation. This problem started over the past year and is getting worse, so naturally I was hesitant about which shoe would be a good match for me. The shoes alone are comfortable and provide stability, but not so much control that I am uncomfortable. So far, I think I've made the right pick! |
